March 24, 2015, 6:21 pm Called to tell me about a rebate he claimed my electric company agreed upon. He wouldn't tell me his company but I know it was American Electric and Gas in Clearwater Fl. I recently switched to them as a provider and they screwed me by starting at .092 per kWh for my first bill and then jumping to .203 tripling my electric bill in cost. April 23, 2015, 10:06 am Got a call from this number wanting me to know about a rebate from Peoples Gas. I told them I was happy with my gas company and not call again, then hung up. He called back immediately to say this wasn't one of those companies who try to fool you, but to notify us of a rebate we were due. I told him I was at work, and had no time for this silliness. June 26, 2015, 10:37 am They (specifically Jason Sybert, extension 5167) called my mom and aunt's business incessantly for a month, then my mom SHRIEKED at him to never call again. He called back. I answered and said, "I'm pretty sure my boss just told you not two minutes ago that we are not interested and to not call again." I hung up on him. He waited a few months and tried again...same guy. Mom told him she would call the police because of his harassment and hung up. He's obviously quite dim, because he called right back, causing mom to simply scream into the phone, "Do not call here again! Do not call here again! Do. Not. Call. Here. Again!" So far so good. For his own sake, I hope he really never calls here again. But, like I said, I think he's an idiot. Doesn't he have anything better to do with his time than harass people? July 6, 2015, 4:19 pm A very rude man called and demanded to speak with the owner (knew his name) and said he insisted I give him a direct number or better number to reach the owner on as he has called several times. (I thought it was an irate customer!) Upon further inquiry, he told me he was some offset of PECO (electric) and we were owed a rebate. I informed him that we do not receive service from PECO and even so, our utilities are included with the rent for our offices. He claimed he needed to speak with the owner because, "no offense", but he feels the the owner will know better about the situation than I do?! He was a complete jerk and I told him that even if the owner spoke with him, I guarantee he wouldn't be interested. He said I was stupid because that's like someone handing me free money and me saying no thank you. What an a*****e. When I said she wasn't in he said how every time he calls she's with a patient or on the phone or not there. I said she was very busy and that's how it was. He demanded her cell phone number. I said, Who exactly are you? He said Nicholas from APG he *needed* to talk to her about account updates and a rebate check that was going to expire. He repeatedly asked for her cell phone number and I said in this like of business (psychology) you never give out a doctor's cell phone number to a random person over the phone.
