May 3, 2016, 2:07 am I received the computerized voice about the IRS final notice and they filed a lawsuit. The grammar and the voice quality was so bad it was pretty obvious a scan. I had 2 messages from 347-637-6194. I had a 3rd message from a female voice at 941-212-7362. I had not heard of this scam before, but I'm glad to have found an answer so quickly online. They are so dumb, the first number they left me was missing the first number. Then its repeated with all the numbers. My taxes are pristine and always have been. Only an idiot would fool with the IRS. Scary people! Whatever you do, do not give them your SS# if you choose to call them. They may say its to ID your return. May 4, 2016, 6:46 pm I've been getting these calls for over a year. Always a different number. One time, when I pretended I was scared, the guy told me to calm down and that he could help me. He asked if I was called on a cell phone or land line. I responded by saying, "I strongly suggest you stop this scam because I am going to call the Better Business Bureau.", then hung up. He called me back immediately (3 times) and left angry messages on my answering machine. First call used very fowl language and said he was going to "f" me. Second call said to stay at my house because he had a gun and was coming over to shoot me. The third call he said I could pay him to "f" me and he could put me in a porn movie. I called the police and they assured me it was a scam and the person lived out of country. Sad to be making a living that way. Oh well...we do live in a fallen world. Caller Type: Scammer/Phisher

May 5, 2016, 5:57 pm Received a call from (213) 141-5163 claiming it is the IRS and to call (347) 637-6194. I already could tell it was a scam. I called the number they gave and a man with an Indian accent answered saying that he is an officer of the IRS. May 6, 2016, 2:05 pm As mentioned in the rest of these complaints, I got a recorded message telling me that I owe the irs about 2,000$ due to several years of erroneous tax returns. The connection was almost impossible to understand and a foreign (Possibly Indian) lady went on about paying them now to avoid a lawsuit. She ended by saying that they would have a sheriff deliver a lawsuit notice to my house. 347-637-6194 is the number that the recording said to call. 800 272 9440 is the number that caller ID showed as the caller. May 10, 2016, 11:14 am I received a call from an automated message - male voice - noting the telephone number 347-637-6194 - I returned the call to find it listed with a New York, NY location. Call center answered with accent. They have address records of your caller id mobile number. I asked who was speaking - he said IRS Agent. He asking if the address he had on file was correct. I said no, promptly hung up and blocked the call from my mobile phone. This is an IRS Scam which has been going on for some time now. Be careful not to give them any information. Asked for the address, and he had a mispelled old address also asked why he doesn't have my current address (no informed it, of course), gave me a nonsense answer (local IRS and not NY Office) When I said that he was not from IRS, hung up. May 11, 2016, 3:36 pm A voice message was left on my home telephone number informing me that an Officer from the Internal Revenue Services {sic} was contacting me with an official final notice call and that a lawsuit had been filed against me. I was instructed to call their department at this phone number. I took no action except to report the incident online to the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration and encourage others to do the same. I called 5x and each person could not answer any of my questions in regards to their legitimacy and one asked me "What do you want?" in those exact words. They left an automated vm saying that I am being sued by the IRS and I need to call them back immediately at 347-637-6194. I called from an anonymous number at my work and a man answered the phone saying "Officer Dennis (something, couldn't make out the last name)". I asked "who is this?" he said "Officer Dennis XXX". I said "and what company is this"? He said "IRS". I said "I received a call from an unknown number and I was wanting to know what company this is". He angrily said "You know who this is".
