Left vmail stating an Officer from the IRS has been trying to reach me to tell me that this an official final notice that IRS has filed a lawsuit against me. May 17, 2016, 6:44 pm Scammer IRS are making the rounds in Pasadena CA - Again. They will ask you to go to your bank and take out, in my case $2400, and deposit it in an account using fund transfer. They stay on the phone with you as you drive to the bank and request that you blow your horn to verify you are in your car. I usually get bored at this point, even though I'm actually still sitting at home, but any way the teller, aka, my daughter, spoke to them to ask them to verify their authenticity and that is usually when they hang up. May 17, 2016, 8:29 pm I got a call that was picked up by my answering machine telling me the IRS was suing me and to call 347-637-6194. Knowing it was a scam, I called anyway and asked them to stop calling. They said "no", and hung up. I kept calling back and they kept hanging up, so I kept calling until someone answered again. May 27, 2016, 3:18 pm We have had two call about an IRS Officer calling to inform that there is a lawsuit against us! How can they be stopped?!...this is harassment!! Sick people.
