January 20, 2015, 8:49 am Fraudulent attempts to con people by pretending to be RBC Bank. They are claiming I need to pay a late bill, but wouldn't give me too many details about it while demanding payment. January 31, 2015, 10:38 pm This is a big fraud operation trying to trick RBC customers that they owe money on late payments or over overdrafts or anything related to debt at the bank. If you call the bank they will tell you exactly what is going on with your account and that nothing is wrong. They specifically told them that this was not a legit number and I should ignore any calls from it. Blocker is at work now with this number. No, there was no one at the bank needing to get in touch with us. Please don't get fooled by these criminals who are phishing for your banking information. Phishing is an insidious way of pretending your bank is urgently trying to locate you because something suspicious is happening with your bank account. Wrong! These people are trying to obtain access to your bank account to help you out of your money. Please don't get fooled. Go to your bank directly if you have any calls like this.
