November 8, 2014, 10:36 am its stellar recovery collecting for Comcast. I closed and paid Comcast, also returned all equipment but according to stellar I had a delinquent balance and if I did not pay them today they were going to report me to the credit bureaus the next day. I have a 0 balance reciept from Comcast....so basically stellar is blackmailing me: pay up now or your name is going to be reported to credit agencies tomorow. October 23, 2015, 4:55 pm The phone call is from "Stellar Collections" and they are debt collection agency that is calling for Comcast whom I had an account with a few years ago. I had to cancel my Comcast account due to improper billing that they refused to reverse. So now they call me every now and then wanting $120 which i can't afford. Sorry, Comcast. December 4, 2015, 9:41 am Stellar is rated as a scam and will continue to harrass you non-stop even if they do not have your name. I know people who have accepted the call to see and even gotten no one on the other end,... Robocall with not enough operators. Meaning they are calling a call list of probably a million names or so. December 7, 2015, 4:39 pm Odd call from a "Stellar Collections" and they claimed that I owed over $100 on an old comcast debt for unreturned equipment. I had to laugh this off because I have never been with Comcast. Some kind of mistake? No idea. Can't say for sure they are a scam, but in my case it looks pretty bad on the obvious side.
