They are Indian scammers trying to install spyware on your computer to fix fake problems and then bill you hundreds of dollars for it. August 27, 2014, 2:31 pm 8/16/14 They called and did a scan and tried to extort money - I thought it was my Norton service. I am on a Mac that can run windows. They thought I was on a pc. I took the battery out of my computer because they still had control of the desktop. I alerted the credit agencies within 230 minutes. I live in fear they copied all of my personal information. October 22, 2014, 6:21 pm Received call from this number today (10/22/2014), a person claimied to be "Ron" from WinCure, calling from the "Web," from Brooklyn. The number he called from showed up on my caller ID as my own number, as if the call was being sent from my residence. Really bad English. February 4, 2015, 11:36 am Got a call from "Albert" from "Tech Services". Also showed my own number on the caller ID. I asked for his phone number to call back and this is the number he gave me. Told me my computer may be infected and wanted me to follow his instructions to determine if it was. I ended the call immediately. Caller Company: My own number Caller Type: Scammer/Phisher
