September 5, 2013, 12:04 pm My wife got a call from these people. They knew our names, knew we had a Verizon Wireless account and told my wife that our bill was a month overdue and we owed Verizon Wireless $62.09 the guy asked my wife if "she wanted to take care of it by credit card right now". My wife was suspicious, so I called the real Verizon Wireless number on my bill, and they confirmed that these people were scammers. Beware of anyone calling and asking for your credit card number. August 21, 2014, 5:32 pm Just switched my carrier to TMobile from Verizon. my bill isn't even due until 10 days from now and they're calling me as verizon asking me for my early termination fee. It's a scam. This number is not associated with Verizon Wireless. If you get a call from this number or you get a call from 706-200-1744 it is a scam and your money will not go to Verizon. They will try to convince you that through these numbers, this is the only way to pay your bill. Just talked to the fraud department of Verizon and they confirmed this what I thought. August 28, 2014, 9:19 pm Got a call from a girl named Annaliz and her caller id showed up from a 631 area code which is Long Island NY, I know because I have a 631 number. She asked me for 146.00 to close out my account. I then asked her why she was calling from A 631 number and she said "well we are out of Farmingdale" B S ... Farmingdale doesnt have a verizon collections dept.. Not only that, she called me at 8:47pm which is by law, passed the 8:00 call rule... I then told her i would call back bc i was busy and she said "well we have your check info on file we can set up a direct check.... NO WAY !!!! I told her no i will call back in the morning.. She gave me this # to call 888 707 1421. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE.. I will write back again tomorrow wen i call them back HEHEHEHE Caller Company: 6314197968 Caller Type: Unknown

November 29, 2014, 1:10 pm Number called us and went to busy when we answered. I returned call and got "Thank you for continuing to hold for next available agent." I hung up and Googled. NEVER believe what callers tell you they know, especially if you called back and thus gave them your Caller-ID name. Suppose they tell 1000 people they "know" you have an account with Sprint, or Verizon, or Comcast Cable service? Whichever they say will be right for some and a few months later they try again "knowing" a different company. Suppose you rebut that you just left, just ordered, or have had no problems for X years? January 14, 2015, 11:16 am They called everyday and did not left any message, it shows unknown phone no. Wired and suspicious. When I did finally get to speak to them they claimed to be with Verizon and knew way too much personal information about me for my confort level. They asked for a credit card immediaitely to pay off a bill, but I called verizon and they said I all bills are paid up as we have a credit card on file and it's automatically billed. April 16, 2015, 1:38 pm Husband answered the phone. Caller asked for me, said they were Verizon. He asked why calling; they said they had to speak to me.
