April 21, 2015, 11:31 pm This may be a debt collection call for " GE Capital Bank" which is making collection calls for store credit cards it's services such a the GAP. If you call the number back it will ask for your card number, but this number is not listed on any of my cards (on the back) and I am very suspicious of it. Not gotten any letters in the mail either which is usually the first thing a legit debt collector does. Caller Company: GE Capital Bank Caller Type: Debt Collector

May 15, 2015, 3:07 am I am getting calls from this number every single day. I finally picked it up and it said it was from the gap and it was debt collection call for a store credit card. I don't have a store credit card from gap and haven't shopped at GAP for years. Not sure where they got my number or if it's a wrong number. If not it could be a scam making random calls hoping that enough dumb naive people will believe in it. June 7, 2015, 6:42 am If you don't have Old Navy/Gap/Bannana republic Credit cards then call this number back and press the star key when the automated meny is playing to force yourself to speak to an operator and then tell the operator that you don't have a credit card with any of the stores for this line so they can remove your number. June 30, 2015, 10:19 am In my case the automated system (when I called it back) said that it was from the Banana Republic Bank and then they asked me to enter in my card number into the phone. If they call you direct and asked for a cc# that would be suspicious as outgoing calls rarely do that if they are legit. But, if you had to call the number back and it asked for your cc# then this is much more likely to be legit. If you don't have a store card then try to speak to an operator to be removed.
