April 7, 2015, 4:11 pm In my case they were just trying to sell me new Satelitte tv services they wanted me to upgrade to get all my telecommunications and tv needs with with them (phone, internet, mobile, tv) with a new promotion they were offering. I don't feel comfortable getting all my services from one supplier as I've found quality drops when you close yourself off to one company. April 30, 2015, 7:49 pm I am actually not with Bell anymore as I switched to another company to get a lot of big savings. They didn't know this and we trying to sell me upgrades when I'm no longer a customer. I had to tell them this and request to have my number removed. They were kind enough about the whole situation. August 21, 2015, 2:10 pm Caller appeared as "Bell Canada" on my caller ID and when I called the number back I spoke to a woman who said that she would remove my number from the Bell telemarketing database. They are known to call people who are no longer customers, so you may need to reveal this who whomever you are speaking to on the line so that they can remove you and discontinue to calls. I am a current customer and they wanted to offer me special upgrades to new bundled packages with multiple services (tv, internet, phone, mobile). I am not a big fan of bundling with any provider as you get worse service. I like switching to whoever I want whenever I want. Gives me better deals.
