March 10, 2014, 5:53 pm I had called Dish to get internet services, was provided with this number from gal who set me up and made arrangements for internet, said I had a month free and to call this number and provided me with a member number. called when needed help and was charged on my credit card, do not know how they got my credit card number in the first place...when I called Dish they said they do not have that number listed as tech support, I did call and cancel membership, all automated services and waited for billing or any department to find out more info, never was able to get through, was put on hold forever as they had 10 calls ahead of me...this is a scam and gal at dish who signed me up must be in on it... On my checking account shows a charge from "TechSuprt (877)813-1264", they charged me $12.95 for thing I can't remember. I tried to call back to find out who that is, and all computer answered. The next time they charged me more than $10, so the alert showed. When I called them, they claimed it must be you had it from some telemarketing, which I can't recall, because it has been quite some time. It is such a scam. May 31, 2015, 9:46 pm At 4 AM $12.95, was taken out of my account as well... I called Dish, they looked at my transactions with them, and they never charged me for that. I called my card, got it canceled.. Now I have to wait until the transaction fully goes through to call my card company to have them do an investigation. This is bull. I am not happy at all. June 16, 2015, 10:38 pm Scam. IDPROTECT8778131264 and Techsuprt8778131264 charged me $12.96 each on 5/24/215. This appears to have been the result of my signing up with DISH network via a 3rd party vendor. I Placed it in contest with the bank and got a new card number. I asked the bank to investigate the fraud. I notified DISH and got disconnected by their fraud department. This number has a customer service on their phone tree, but I never got through to them. She never even purchased anything, nor did I and we don't have DISH network. So we have a case with the local PD and we cancelled our cards. Hopefully we will get the money back. Two charges for $12.95 each started on my credit card (same one given to dish) for IDProtect and Techsupport, both with same phone number following. Called the number and was able to get 3 mos. refunded to my card. When I asked why they started these charges, she said it was through Dish. I called Dish, but they deny any relationship. December 25, 2015, 6:19 pm Odd charges on credit card listing this phone number. Related to third party doing the billing for Dish network. I got Dish Network installed recently so that explains it. March 16, 2016, 12:08 pm Just got a call from my credit card company regarding suspicious charge activity. ID Protect and Tech Support for $12.95 each. Called them and cancelled both memberships. Also got a charge card credit from them. Appears that somehow Dish is involved in this scam...beware...watch your charges carefully. Caller Company: charge card charges

April 19, 2016, 8:36 pm I got taken twice in two days for 12.95. One charge was for "tech support" the other for "id protection" which is an oxymoron. My charges were just after I signed on with Dish but never got it installed since I live in a condo on the wrong side of the street.

April 26, 2016, 3:04 pm I was checking my cc statement and found "Tech support" charges for March and April for $12.95 each. I after reading the comments on this site I called Dish. The dates the charges were made are 1 and 2 months after signing up for Dish through a company called GoDish. Dish gave me their phone number so I called them. GoDish said it is for help with programming and for help with the remote control. They said it is free for the first month and if you don't call to cance, a charge for 12.95 will be made to your account every month. I think they don't make it more obvious when you side up in the hope the customers won't catch on right away. They gave me the same number above and when I called it I did get a person after a short wait. I told them I wanted the charges reversed and the account closed. He didn't argue with me. He simply said it would take 3-5 days for it to show up In my account. I plan on checking my account and if it doesn't go through I will talk to my credit union. A second number I was given in case no one answered the first when you call is 877-813-8722. Hope this helps you figure out what is going on and how to get help resolving it. October 11, 2016, 9:44 am These scammers deducted 12.95 from my account before I realised what was going on. They claim to be called Member Services and provide tech support for a number of companies and I had been given a free 30 day trial before the deductions started. Apparently , they are linked to DISH . I was only given two months refund . Beware !

I called, spoke w/Ben & asked what did that take my $ out for,he said he's putting back in my account the $. I asked what was it for & he said when I ordered Dish (I canceled the same day!) they charged me service charge! (2 x's!!) **DISH is a FRAUD** do not order anything from them!!
