September 3, 2015, 5:05 am The caller is "Bell Canada" and this is a telemarketing sales call with promotions for the new Bell Fibe Service. They want to upgrade my existing services and bundle some others into a new cheaper package that "covers all my needs." I politely rejected the offer and asked to be removed. September 14, 2015, 6:54 pm In my case this was actually Bell Canada calling to remind me to pay my bill. A debt or bill reminder collection call. I am late on my bill so that is not weird, just wasn't expecting an reminder call for the late bill. Bill will be settled by tomorrow at the latest. Possible phishing scam, although I doubt it as they do employ third party call centers for these big telecoms. Right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. I am a current Bell customer. October 7, 2015, 10:31 pm I called the number back and I can confirm it's "Bell Canada" calling for new offers for new packages. I get these kinds of calls once or twice a year from Bell so it's not surprising...although annoying. I heard a message from Bell when it picked up upon calling back. June 21, 2016, 7:38 pm got a call while cooking dinner asking if I was interested in changing my service to a new package they are offering. I said no thanks in a sort of friendly way and about an hour later I got a call from another Bell staff confirming the cancelation of my satellite TV services! Told this rep that I never cancelled my current service and demanded to know who cancelled it? January 4, 2017, 2:22 pm Got a call from this number claiming they were from MSI, a marketing company for Bell. They asked to confirm my account information and I cut off the call.
