This company tries to send people little boxes to monitor your tv usage. I'm 76 years old and never use that language, but there really is a limit to one's patience. There should be a law against these people invading our privacy on weekends especially. I was very angry when they called me at 10AM on my one day to sleep in after being up until 4 AM the night before. I feel like they are harassing me daily and it has to stop. September 8, 2015, 2:29 am Caller is named "Numeris" and they want to install tv viewing habit recorders next to your tc set. Basically, they are ratings collections loggers and need the device installed in your home to get the data from your viewing habits. This is a common thing and the way the tv stations get their info. They want to send you a survey in the mail and when you get this it will be more like a diary for a week's worth of radio listening. My number is listed with the do not call program, but apparently these idiots don't have to respect our privacy. I'm here to clarify some points for you. - First of all, even if your number is listed on the do-not call list, this list only applies to marketing companies (those who are trying to sell you something)... So since Numeris is a not for profit company and we only conduct surveys you may yell at the poor employee all you want if you are still on our calling list we will call again. - Which brings us to the second point. Please oh please if you are yelling, cursing or simply trying to get rid of us with all your might because we have been bothering you just say this: "Please put my number on the do not call list" (Numeris' do not call list) and the employee will be more than happy to do it (not only because we have to if you ask) but because its a relief for us every time someone says the magical word. - Finally, I am really sorry if we are bothering you during supper time, but my phone calls numbers automatically one after the other until 9 pm. So we are very sorry if we are bothering you, we'll call another time but please there is no need to yell. Because I know as much as you what time it is, only I have to answer any call that comes through my phone. Sorry. That applies to weekends as well. We work on weekends all day until 8pm.
