March 2, 2015, 2:20 am Claimed to be from TD Bank credit card insurance department wanting to sell me credit card insurance in case something bad happens. They asked me about my credit history and tried to sell me on the idea of being protected at all times with the insurance so I can always pay off my balance even if I get unemployed or sometimes commits identity theft with my information. Claimed the service was free fro 30 days. Cast was $19.99 a month after and they needed to confirm personal information like my date of birth. I choose to hang up instead. March 25, 2015, 6:56 am This company is "Equinox" and they are a third party affiliate for a number of banks and insurance companies. If you call the number back you will get an automated system which will eventually give you a menu to have yourself removed form their calling list system. The calls are most likely related to credit card insurance which is often a giant rip off because credit card companies erase your illegal transactions anyway. June 19, 2015, 2:32 am The company calling is called "Equinox" and they may have been contracted by the banks or some other company to make these calls. Often this number will try to sell you credit card protection services. I choose to simply hang up and call the bank direct. TD will tell you that this is not someone they directly deal with. February 10, 2016, 5:47 pm A girl called me with this number and told me that she is TD credit card representative and explained how they will send me free credit card report. It was fine till she asked me to verify my name and address. I did that since she already has them. But when she asked me about date of birth I told her that I do not feel comfortable to verify this kind of information by phone when I do not know who is calling me. She told that DOB exists on your social media and so on. But I repeated that I do not feel comfortable to verify this kind of information. So, she said that she would respect my concern, and bye. I do not know whether it was a real call from TD or not. Caller Type: Unknown

May 17, 2016, 3:43 pm Beautyrock services from TD bank. Essentially TD bank sold our private info and these sleazeballs are trying to sell you services that you don't need. In order to get your number removed you have to call back and punch in your phone number and speak to an agent who tries to ram product down your throat.
