September 19, 2014, 6:39 pm I called the number back and it was Citi. I got transferred to the fraud department. I had used by card at the same location twice and they suspected something was wrong. All cleared up. Honest caller, but you should always use the number on the back of the card for 100% certainty that you are speaking to a real card services agent. March 1, 2015, 10:59 pm I was called with a warning about 2 fraudulent transactions that were made using my credit card. They told me to call them back "using the number on the back of the card" to verify all the transaction information with them. Told me to have my card information ready when I called. Said they were "Citibank Fraud Services." All worked out as the fraudulent transactions have been dealt with and removed from my account.
