April 16, 2015, 4:36 am Survey questions about political issue and elections and such. No scam here, just annoying questions they want to ask you. I personally don't have time for them so I hung up. This call has also encouraged me to go buy a block now. Got one already on my mobile, but this is pushing me to get one for home. Too much garbage on the phone now. Nobody to trust anymore. April 27, 2015, 6:21 pm I got a voicemail from this caller on my machine and the message was a cut off blurb that was asking questions about politics. Never mentioned who they were and I didn't find out until I did some research on the internet about the number. I don't fill out online surveys so I have no idea who they got my number. May 9, 2015, 8:03 am This is a company called Probit Inc and they conduct surveys. They wanted to ask me all kinds of questions about politics and my views on issues. They were very polite and the call was strictly a survey call and that's all. They have an automated system that allows you to follow up on the call to make sure it's not a scam. June 8, 2015, 6:35 pm The caller was conducting a survey under the name "Probit Inc." on the caller display. They were asking me questions about politics and upcoming elections. In my case the call was automated and asked me to press 1 or 2 for yes or no. Unusual survey call as I usually get live people. I guess the machines are taking over for everything now. June 11, 2015, 9:28 pm My caller ID said the call was from probit.ca/view and so I visited the website and saw that it was a big survey that said to take approximately 10 minutes. I didn't bother to take the survey and simply left site and blocked the number. January 30, 2016, 1:08 pm The Canadian do not call list is a free service that puts your # on it's list for Canadian companies (reputable ones) , the problem is they sell the info you give them to foreign Companies that do not have to follow Canadian rules. This was profiled a few years ago on either the Fifth Estate or W5. Think about it a free service they have to be funded somehow. Caller Type: Unknown
