June 30, 2015, 7:24 pm This is remote pc fixing scam. They want remote access to you computer, will fix nothing pretending they are, and then bill you 200 to 300 dollars. I am currently working on getting the bill reversed. They sound Indian, but I think in this case this is a setup scam for pc fixing with a stable number and website. The other kind of pc scam they call you. Caller Company: I FIX PC Caller Type: Scammer/Phisher

July 23, 2015, 10:59 pm I called this number thinking it was related to yahoo's tech and then they came into my computer remotely, lied about fixing the problem, and then billed me $199 for this. Absolutely ridiculous. Should be illegal, I'm surprised they haven't been arrested yet. Caller Company: ifix pc Caller Type: Scammer/Phisher

May 7, 2016, 1:50 pm I got the same horrible message that my pc had been attacked and the # to call was for I FIX PC. I questioned them throughout the whole ordeal, and they said they were from Microsoft. Told them I didn't have any $$$ they said the cheapest to fix was $99.95 and I should send ck to address in OH. I contacted Microsoft and reported. Msft made note and recommended reporting to our state attorney general which I intend to do. I have not sent ck. May 30, 2016, 10:18 pm The same thing happened to me this afternoon as what happened to Katie. Same phone # 855-837-9965. They wanted 299.99. They were going to invoice me and I would later send a check. No money needed today. She remoted in with logmein. I was suspicious right then. Who uses logmein anymore? Then I was told I would see data deck on my checking statement. I said. No... Remember I'm sending you a check. Now I'm ready to hang up. Jennifer, the (scam) tech was not giving up! I've only had this laptop for less than a week. I knew there was nothing a severe as this going on. So so happy I didn't lose any money!! Caller Type: Unknown

June 1, 2016, 12:14 am Call them back and insult them. They might not continue with their bulls**t if everyone they try to scam inundates them with phone calls. I myself call to insult them several time a day. Imagine if only 100 people did the same. I encourage everyone to call these losers and make it clear they are nothing but low life thieves. Call today and every day. Tell your friends to do the same. Call 855-837-9965 Caller Type: Scammer/Phisher

June 4, 2016, 3:08 am I received a pop up and a verbal message claiming that I had virus on my computer and I need to call. Once I call, they wanted to remotely access my computer. They claim to give me a life time warranty for security MSE firewall anti-hacking. repair work techniacian work unlimited support proffeshinal frequently asked questions. All for the price of $399.95. But I kinda figure it was a scam, so I didn't go through the process. Caller Company: Rose Paul Caller Type: Scammer/Phisher

June 6, 2016, 1:22 pm I was told to call this number because of a malware on my computer. They claimed they were from Microsoft and I was dumb enough to allow them remote access. Told me they could fix everything for a price when my senses finally kicked in. Worried they could harm my computer and hack into my info so I restored my entire computer and am adding an anti-malware system. P.S. The guy that called me had a thick Indian accent and his name was Paul, so that should have been a sign. Caller Company: Paul, 8558379965 Caller Type: Scammer/Phisher

October 14, 2016, 5:26 pm This phone number and all businesses and individuals associated with it are online thiefs and scammers. Bilked me out of hundreds of dollars under false pretense of fixing problematic computer viruses. I am awaiting a certified reimbursement check. If I don't receive it forthwith, I will be in communication with the FTC, Ohio Better Business Bureau, and Microsoft Corporation lawyers to shut them down. October 16, 2016, 8:55 pm Got a Zeus malware alert on the internet, called no. on screen and got this outfit promising to remove the malware for $169.99. Put my check on my scanner and then they said it would take 60 minutes to fix. I called a tech friend then and he said it was a scam, remove all the software that may have been put on by the scammers, and I may have to change my bank account number. Called it scareware. I got a "receipt" from someone called technical support team llc, and another 855 number. Since then, I've gotten a huge number of calls from 855-837-9965 on my cell phone which I don't answer and promptly erase. Caller Company: I didn't answer Caller Type: Scammer/Phisher |
