May 27, 2015, 9:00 pm Some kind of scammer named "CAO Associates" telling me that they were filing claims against me on my SSN# and they they would be looking into legal action to reclaim money owed from an loan that was received off the internet. That sounded like the most pathetic lie I have ever heard. An "Internet Loan"??? What the hell is that? Is that even legal? I thought the payday loan scams were bad enough and now they get stupider. This is a scare tactic being used by a professional con-artist making random calls by the millions to catch naive honest people with fear and forcing them to repay fake loans. July 1, 2015, 2:18 pm Brian Willinsky of CAO Associates calling to inform me that he was an private investigator and that charges had been filed against my SSN# and that they would be proceeding with legal action against me for check fraud for failing to repay an "Internet Loan" I took 2 years ago. I have no idea what an Internet Loan is and haven't even had a loan at all in over 10 years. Smells like a scam. Caller Company: CAO Associates Caller Type: Debt Collector

July 9, 2015, 6:12 pm I was also called from a local number and was left a voicemail to call CAO & Associates at 855-808-6053, immediately. I first called the local number, someone answered and then hung up, I then called the 855# and was told a criminal case has been filed against me with my SS# for fraudulent activity, Check fraud for a payday loan from Fast Cash in May 2013. WTH are they talking about?! I have never taken a loan from them. They also advised I have a court date scheduled for 7/13/15 and that if I did not show, I would be issued a warrant for my arrest! These people have truly lost their minds. How are they getting access to our personal info?? and how are they getting away with harassing innocent people!! July 10, 2015, 4:52 pm I also got a call from a local number and was told to call 1855-808-6053 his name was james Bronson he claimed I had a payday loan from 500 fast cash from the internet and said that I will be taking to court and that someone was coming to my job to serve me with papers even threaten that I will go to prison in newyork said from Cao Associates that was on 7-8-15 said I had 24 hours to pay and then said it was for 710.00 Caller Type: Debt Collector |
