Microsoft has a webpage about this problem at : http://www.microsoft.com/security/online-privacy/avoid-phone-scams.aspx so I would be careful with these people and hang up. Nothing is wrong with your computer and they are either going to hack you or bill you for fake services in some 9 year membership that is a conjob. January 27, 2016, 3:06 pm They were 'tech support from Windows' gave me a 855-384-9273 number to call although the number listed a wireless number 724-422-9755. Said my personal information was listed on the web and my pc had been hacked. He asked if I lived at a specific address which was wrong. Thick East Indian accent and was difficult to understand.
