They are actually trying to sell you technical support contracts after misleading you about this virus. May 10, 2016, 8:51 pm They said they are from Windows server support and needed to remote into our computer, and then we told them we had a Mac. Then they said we had a problem with our network connection, so we told them we connected through Wifi (that doesn't make sense, but we went with it). Then they said there was a problem with our internet server, so we asked for the server name. Then they said we were just playing with them, so we asked for their credit card. Then they hung up. January 18, 2017, 11:58 am I knew it was a scam from the start. Microsoft does not personally call you to tell you how to fix your computer. I played stupid to keep them on the line. I talked to Indian who called me and two of his supervisors. I managed to keep them on the line for twenty minutes and told them nothing.

January 19, 2017, 1:52 pm I received a call from this number on Jan. 19,2017. A man's voice told me my computer was being hacked and that he was with Windows 10. He tried to convince me to stay on with him so that I could stop some programs that hackers were using to hack into mine and others computers. I made him give me this number I am sending you, to find out if they were legitimate. I also contacted my teck support in my area, they agree it is a scam.
