Prepaid loan over the phone are generally illegal in this manner in the US and UK I think. Anyone wanting money over the phone for financial products is probably safe to classify as a con artis. March 1, 2015, 2:56 am These people tricked me out of $350 for a fee on a pre-paid loan. I feel really stupid now. The loan was supposed to be for an unsecured loan of $1000. They got me to use a prepaid money transfer card and now they say due to my bad credit I have to send more money and then wait longer for the taxes and fixes to pass. A complete joke.
