October 18, 2013, 6:57 pm I got a phone call from 814-325-9538 on my answering machine. They said they were a Civil Investigation Unit(couldn't hear the name). There is a complaint against you, named in a court action and must appear(didn't say where). There is a restraining order, you or your atty have 24-48 hours to oppose this matter. Would like to know who these people are! Caller Company: on answering machine no date, not sure on caller ID Caller Type: Scammer/Phisher

March 13, 2015, 10:31 pm I got threats of an armed officer being sent to arrest me if I don't send them money. They also make threats of hurting my credit rating, but I check my credit rating regularly and nothing ever happens after calls like this. They are all hot air and no action. Extortion is the best name for their actions. They even called my parents to try to scare them that payment was mandatory or else. Well no "or else" ever comes. Just safely ignore these criminals.
