March 22, 2015, 11:26 am This is a Verizon scammer that that is conducting a fake survey with claims to apply credit to your Verizon account if you cooperate. At the end of the survey they will ask for your address and last 4 digits of your SSN# to verify you identity and apply account credits to your Verizon account. This has been confirmed by Verizon as a scam on their website and you should be very cautious giving out personal information to anyone calling from this number. April 14, 2015, 3:36 pm A call from verizon. Mark Evans, Agent ID 8224 and he wanted to conduct a survey and also asked me for some personal information which I thought was unusual as Verizon should already know all the information they need to know about me on file. SSN seems unusual too as I don't see what they would need that. i don't think i give that out to anyone except banking and credit card companies along with employers. May 7, 2015, 9:27 pm A scammer that wanted to offer me a $32 credit for my account if I went to a website at myverizon32.com and entered in my account information. I called Verizon and they said this is not a legit Verizon call and that they don't offer credits for logging into a website. This is a organized scammer that is using computer based automated calls to fool people into giving up their account information. Verizon has acknowledged that this is a criminal that they have nothing to do with. They don't run websites for credits in this manner. February 23, 2016, 2:18 pm I never got a phone call from this number. Instead, I had 4 different charges on my back account from "Verizon" with this 800 number attached. The 1st debit from my account was for $140 which cleared my account. They tried 4 more times to take more money but of course, nothing was taken since they cleared me out the 1st time.
