October 10, 2013, 1:51 pm Fake Bank of America scam that leaves door hangers on your door with this number. You know it's a scam because you can't even begin talking to anyone without giving them personal information. I don't think that is how banks operate. Caller Company: Bank of America Caller Type: Scammer/Phisher

July 9, 2014, 11:10 am I have verified with Bank of America that this is in fact the collection department for a late mortgage payment. Interesting link though. http://www.girardgibbs.com/americredit-robocalls-lawsuit-investigation/ Caller Company: BOA Caller Type: Debt Collector

January 24, 2015, 6:37 am This caller is absolutely not Bank of America. They asked me for very personal information like SNN# and my home address. No need to call me and ask for this information. Banks don't do that in this day and age. They are too smart. Plus, they already have that info. For fraud the most you would get is someone telling you about the fraud and then asking you if you made the transaction or not so they confirm the fraud and get to work investigating the culprit. They already know everything about you. Caller Company: BANK OF AMERICA Caller Type: Scammer/Phisher

February 16, 2015, 10:13 am Scam caller pretending to be from Bank of America. I knew it right away because they were asking for information that was way too personal. My bank and credit card company never calls me. I think I actally got a letter in the mail once about the fraud and then they ask me to call them about it to give them my input on the charge in question and this requires calling card service on the bank of my card so it's 100% legit conversation. January 14, 2016, 2:21 pm This is the number I call every month to pay my mortgage by phone, and they do ask for SS# and DOB for verification. BofA already has that info if you have a mortgage with them, and they are cross referencing to prevent fraud. Caller Company: Bank Of America Caller Type: Debt Collector
