Then they will ask you to type in your whole card number. Phishers. Real credit card companies ask this information only when you call them with the number on the back of your card. January 7, 2015, 10:09 am Scam call telling me that my debt card had been deactivated and telling me to enter in my 16 digit number to get the card reactived. I've gotten these types of calls before. Clearly a scam at work. Shame these calls are now becoming common place and that people are actually falling for them. No company is ever identified with this caller. January 30, 2015, 1:44 pm A complete fraud. Automated caller telling me about bank card being shut off for fraud and that I need to verify my card by entering it into the phone like a dummy. February 22, 2015, 5:20 pm I called my bank after getting this call to verify the claims about my card being deactivated and they said nothing is wrong with my card. DO NOT believe anything you hear from this number. It's too dangerous. Risky phishing skimmer at work here. You will probably get bank charges immediately after inputting your card number. A similar scam to the reduced credit card rates input scammer from "Card Services." They bill you hundreds of dollars as soon as you give them your number.
