March 31, 2015, 8:43 pm 775-432-6376 is a spoofed number and 'Metamorphic Research Group' is a bogus ID. Google the name and all you'll find are caller complaints & nothing about this phantom company. No such company exists. You'll see the harassing calls are coming from multiple area codes and all the numbers are also spoofed. I'm on the east coast so there's no way I'd be contacted for a NV poll. These are the tactics of skip tracers working for debt collectors. They're trying to confirm your identity and match it to a phone number. You have probably also been receiving calls from 'Unavailable 1' and many other dubious spoofed #s and CIDs. They rotate their CID names & numbers but they're the same trolls on the other end. There isn't one report on any of the message boards reporting a legitimate 'survey', political or otherwise. There's also not a single reference in Google to any company with the name 'Metamorphic Research Group'. I think the KS 3/31 post above is the correct analysis. April 2, 2015, 2:08 pm I have to agree with KS and VK. I too received two calls from this number yesterday, leaving a message on my answering machine asking for my by my first name and asking me to press 1, and since I am not a registered voter in NV, there is no reason to ask for my opinion on their politics. The robot called twice more that day and has been calling about every day since then. But each time it mispronounces "Nevada." I don't talk to robots that mispronounce "Nevada." August 1, 2016, 8:20 pm Just started getting these over last few days, increasing daily. No message left. If this is indeed a phishing call they may be connected to a company called Portfolio Recovery. They have been hounding me for the last two years with no message being left in all that time.
