They had to be watching our account, because they didn't act until my husband deposited his retirement pay. We would have to hire a lawyer who practices in Florida to recover this money. May 29, 2013, 9:44 am I settled and paid off the credit card they are calling about back in 2002 and this company keeps calling me and telling me that I owe the money. I do not have proof from 11 years ago that I paid the money. I explained to them that most people don't keep past 5-7 years of paperwork. I sent them a certified cease and desist letter and they still keep calling. The letter stated that they were only to contact me via an email address that I gave them and that they were only to contact me on that email to let me know that they were removing my name and information from their data base. I would love to find an attorney looking for a class action law suit against these guys. I have already taken steps needed and they still keep harrassing me. They call me at least 2-3 times a week. I have heard horror stories from people that were getting harrassed that owed the money, but this is nuts when you don't owe the money. I said this is a celluar umber they told me we recieved it through public information. I dont know what to think. I knew it was just a matter of time before our cellphone numbers would be sold to the highest bidder, we need to take action against the phone companies. August 1, 2013, 9:13 am These people keep calling me saying I owe money for an electric bill from 10 years ago. Funny thing is that I've run my credit report annually for the past 5-6 years and have never seen this debt on it, from any of the three credit agencies. I keep telling them not to call me and they refuse to stop. They have even told me that they see this in their notes that I've told them several times that I don't owe any money and they are a scam and to stop calling me. It's getting to be harrassment!
