Junk debt buyers of expired debt trying to scare people as quickly as they can for a fast buck. October 9, 2015, 9:33 am i had a debt from 16 years ago. They harassed me and told me i had to pay the $1,400 from that many years ago. They refused to tell me who the debt was from or when it was from. So they told me i had court date and was serving me court papers. They are calling about a very old debt that makes me question the legality of this call. The statute of limitations is clear about the age of debts and 10 years seems very old and far past any set limits. Not paying and not listening anymore. Blocked. Buying up old expired jnk debt and than risking everything to mass call people with fear and guilt so they will pay up.
