April 27, 2016, 5:20 pm I just received a call from this number and did not answer it. I too get many calls re: carpet cleaning. So they do have multiple numbers. These types of calls are an epidemic and I do not find the 'Do Not Call' Registry to be much help. I have gotten to the point where I don't answer the phone unless I know who is calling. I check nearly every number and find the best way to confront the problem is to just save the number under the name "Z-Hangup"... then when I see this on my caller ID I just press the answer button .... immediately followed by the hang up button. (Putting Z at the beginning puts the number at the end of the alphabet.) Anyway, doing it this way ensures they can't leave messages and my number is hopefully logged as a non-working number. This has significantly reduced the number of calls I receive. Unfortunately my devices which block calls are full and I'm not paying another $100 for another unit. January 5, 2017, 6:25 pm I used to get calls from the carpet company all the time. 4 years ago I moved overseas to Europe and placed my phone number on hold (not active). Then I moved to West Africa last year. just yesterday, I reactivated the number, as I plan to travel more frequently to DC. Surprise, my first call was from the carpet company. January 11, 2017, 7:08 pm Known scammer. Only rang once because I use https://www.nomorobo.com/ which is a free download. This was created by the FTC to try to stop the illegal robo callers who ignore the do not call list because they are criminals and ignore the government do not call list. Once installed, only one ring so you know it is scammer. I still check numbers just in case. Excellent track record and it has cut out 90% of scam calls. I have no relationship with this company and suggest anyone check them out. I believe both Verizon and Time Warner will tell you this is a real company that actually helps with a big problem.
