November 18, 2013, 10:59 am Called as an automated message saying, "You have been pre-approved for a small business loan" and asks you to press "1" to see how much you have been approved, or press "2" to be removed from their call list. Caller Company: Automated Message Caller Type: Unknown

November 25, 2013, 1:20 pm This company calls numbers on the do not call registry (in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act) playing a recorded message without an operator on the line (also a violation of the TCPA) stating that they have a guaranteed, pre-approved loan for you. When you get to an operator, the operator wants your name and phone number. The operator refuses to provide the caller's business name when asked (also in violation of the TCPA) and states that if you really wanted the loan, you'd give him your information. The operator also refuses to provide the company's phone number when asked (another violation of the TCPA). If you ask for the caller's information again, the operator hangs up without providing it. This is clearly a scammer - they refuse to provide basic information that 100% of legitimate businesses would gladly provide - even if it weren't required by law, and they require you to provide personal information before they will answer any questions... Do not provide them any information - this is a SCAM! Caller Company: Nevada Call Caller Type: Scammer/Phisher

February 9, 2015, 10:34 pm This is a pre-approved loan con-artist. They will try to get you interested in an easy loan that requires only a prepayment on green dot card or some other prepaid card system to acquire the loan. Once you pay them they will give you a time to receive the loan. The loan will not come in this time. Then you will call them back and they will tell you that more fees and taxes need to be paid due to your bad credit. Then they double rip you off. You will continue calling them for eternity until you give up as a conned fool. Caller Company: Smart Business Loans Caller Type: Scammer/Phisher

March 5, 2015, 2:23 am These types of loans are illegal to do over the phone. You can't call people up and start offering them money for a very good reason, which is it's way too easy to conduct fraud. Don't b an idiot and instead choose to hang up on this criminal. Real loans require a physical presence with identification presented at a licensed loaner. Anyone calling on the phone is almost guaranteed to be a criminal. May 24, 2015, 3:55 pm I am getting messages on my answering machine for home remodeling offers. Same when I picked the line up. The messages appear to be from real people, but you soon realize it's an automated caller. I have recently asked for a quote from a company I know, but I don't think they are the same company that is calling. Caller Company: Worldwide Telec Caller Type: Telemarketer

July 21, 2015, 12:45 pm The caller was the "Manufacturers Loan Approval Dept." telling me that I am approved for a business loan that I never applied for. My research on this number tells me that it' a giant loan scammer. Best to block this. Calling the number back got me a "line not in use" message so that should give you a good idea about how much a lowlife the person using this number is. August 13, 2015, 4:25 pm The caller was a "merchant claim Center" and they said they were calling about the potential to get big funds from a big class action lawsuit against the major credit card companies and were offering to send me a form to file to join this lawsuit. They said the lawsuit was for 7.25 billion dollars so there was lots of money to taken from this if I was interested. The caller's name was Ryan.
