January 8, 2014, 9:54 am Claims to be a federal officer with Homeland Security and tells me I have reported or other such nonsense. Demanding payment on large sum of money or I will be arrested for non-payment. Sorry, but that is called extortion and the US government doesn't need to embarrass itself conducting itself that way. March 1, 2015, 3:39 am some advice for anyone reading this. If anyone claims to be from a government department with threats of arrest or litigation of you don't send money immediately, then this is a scam. The government does not make calls like this whatsoever. If the government is going to arrest you then they will just show up unannoucned to do so. And they don't do that over debts.
