May 5, 2016, 11:15 pm Got a call from 646-612-3456 today 05MAY16 from a very insistent woman with a heavy Indian or Pakistani accent indicating the detected a hack to my computer and wanted my CLSID which is a microsoft registry key that allows access to my computer with a few commands. I asked her what version of windows i was running and she could not tell me. so i told her i dont own any microsoft computers, and she hung up. I SAID YOU HAVE THE WRONG NUMBER THIS IS A PLACE OF BUSINESS. SHE GOT ANGRY AND SAID NO I DON'T HAVE THE WRONG NUMBER, YOU ARE MIKE HAUGE RIGHT. UHHH NO.. DO I SOUND LIKE A MIKE? (IM FEMALE) SHE STARTED YELLING WHY ARE YOU LYING I SEE YOUR NAME ON MY CALLER ID YOU ARE AT THIS NUMBER AND NAME RIGHT? RIGHT? I STARTED LAUGHING AND HUNG UP. THOUGHT IT WAS AN UNSTABLE TELEMARKETER BUT AFTER SOME ONLINE DIGGING I SEE ITS A SCAM. BE CAREFUL EVERYONE! REPORTING THIS TO THE FBI. Told her I was on National do not call list.She didn't seem fazed by that and had the audacity to tell me she would call back everyday.I did file a complaint with the DNC registry.We'll see what happens. I hesitantly said yes and then asked what the gist of this call was about. She then proceeds to tell me that there is a problem on my computer. Duh! Are you kidding me? Like someone from NYC knows there is a problem with my computer in Kentucky. I really feel sorry for the people who do not know any better and get scammed. When asked by me "when did Windows make computers?" she became flustered and started to ramble on. Asked how much it would cost me to fix computer, she stated I had numerous options. Pay what I can afford. Then she quoted me a price of $99.95 for one year. Played her game and she got pissed at me and told me to "shut up and go to hell". Touched a nerve! June 24, 2016, 10:00 pm Male with foreign accent left me a VM that was extremely unprofessional saying that he was a an "officer" and that either me or my lawyer should call him. He didn't say any part of my name so I knew from the start he was scamming. He didn't state from what precinct or office he was calling from. The message was vague and broken up. July 19, 2016, 2:28 pm Yes Same thing with many spoofed numbers. Have had to restore OS on friends computers and others. So its obvious that they got my number and email and who knows what off of their computers. If somebody took everything I own it wouldnt last them long but this is just too give them a power trip or just something to do. Nobody calls to take care of business like IRS (registered mail usually if you owe money), or Credit reduction (that is illegal and ALWAYS a scam) or from microsoft telling anyone anything. (If they knew about your computer problems then they would already have hacked it.) the ability to generate any number or caller ID on a phone. especially land lines, is just to prevalent for it to be secure. So unless you are the one who is calling a reputable business be careful about phone warnings. Let everyone you know about these things in case they dont. August 26, 2016, 1:51 pm Had a message from this number on my voicemail and all they kept saying is "HELLO" over and over. Had a warning message on my computer a while back that claimed it was coming from Microsoft and it locked up my computer. HP advised me to completely reset my computer to factory settings to get rid of the virus they had hacked in to my pc. They believe these phone calls and alert messages are from the same people. A woman with a heavy Indian accent and a lot of noise in the background told me she was from Microsoft and that my computer had been infiltrated. These "people" had my personal data, etc. I was suppose to log onto my computer while she was on the phone. I told her I had to walk out the door (not really). November 28, 2016, 12:00 pm I also received this call. I could not thank the people enough for notifying me of my computers illness. Immediatly I isolated my computer from all other computers. I left my little ones (Ipads, tablets, and cell phones) with a family friend. (Since they are so small and young, I didn't want their immune systems compromised.) I put my computer in bed and stayed by it's side during this hard and overwhelming ordeal. With the help of love, prayer and lots of chicken soup I am happy to report that my computer pulled through. Unfortunately the alarm clock that shared the room did not make it. The funeral will be Friday, December 2, at 1:00 PM. Caller Type: Scammer/Phisher

A woman with an accent claimed to be from Microsoft Windows told me every time I get on my computer it is being hacked by hackers from Russian. The noise in the background was very loud, When I questioned her what she was going to do about this situation, she told me "you will do what I tell you to do on your computer".
