March 9, 2015, 5:53 pm This caller is dangerous. If you fall for the reduced rate scam and enter your number they will charge your card $795.00US and sometimes multiple times until your card is maxed out. The reduced rate qualification is a lie and nobody get anything except ripped off. A big automated scam raking in millions dollars every year when people stupidly don't check their statements and pay the hundred dollar charges. April 1, 2015, 9:23 pm Credit Card Services calling to tell me that I had qualified for new offers for reductions in my interest rates. Automated message told me to press 1 to talk to a live person. I don't think people should answer this number. The FTC has labeled this type of call a scam and it's getting worse. Caller Company: Local Caller Type: Scammer/Phisher

April 8, 2016, 10:23 am I received a text from someone claiming to be named "Laurel" who said she found me on Care.com. She offered me an amazing job and wanted to set up an interview. Before the interview or before we met in person she wanted my name (which was on my profile), email address, and home address. I refused to give it to her before the interview being that I couldn't verify who she was. She was EXTREMELY insistent! When I asked her for more information like the name of the company she said she couldn't trust me and told me to lose her number. The only reason someone wouldn't be able to tell you their companies name is if they are a fraud!! This could have been an identity theft attempt or since she asked for my home address it's could have been part of a sex trafficking ring. Be careful and do NOT share your information!!! Caller Company: Would not disclose company name. Caller Type: SMS |
