March 8, 2016, 10:59 am Had a little fun with this prank caller. Kept him on the phone for about 30 minutes. Obvious that he was not from the IRS. He stated there was a warrant out for my arrest and that I needed to pay them $35,000. He finally hung up on me after I said I would call my daughter in law, the family lawyer. March 8, 2016, 11:13 am I get the call today twice in 10 minutes on my cell phone. So, I politely added the number to my auto-dialer to call and hang up when someone answers. Will leave it running for at least a month and it should call them every 3 minutes. I encourage everyone do this to this type of call. Caller Type: Scammer/Phisher

I know that the IRS will send a letter so I'm not worried about anything but it is sad that there are some people willing to scam others out of their money instead of getting a job and working like the rest of us do. March 8, 2016, 10:20 pm Talk to someone from this number and tried to get me to go to Walmart and money gram 1800 dollar. They said it was for taxes owed. They told me I could not hang up, put them on mute, or speaker and I had to stay on the phone with them as they directed me how to send the money gram. He said if I hung up the police would arrest me for tax fraud in 30 minutes. I hung up and never sent them money. It's a scam. Caller Type: Scammer/Phisher

This call was an automated person telling me to call them because there was a 'fraud alert' on my return. WRONG. NEVER give money to anyone if you can't prove who they are.
