May 9, 2014, 9:56 pm This is a scam that takes advantage of the elderly with claims that they are eligible for a free medical device and $1000 in coupons. A giant phishing and shipping fee scam. Keep your credit card away from these people. Caller Company: New York Caller Type: Scammer/Phisher

May 18, 2014, 7:48 am Was not available to the phone when the call came in, and there was no message. I've received calls from these people in the past. I NEVER, but NEVER buy anything over the telephone unless I am the one placing the call to, say, a mail order place I have done business with in the past. May 28, 2014, 11:30 am I've received several calls from this number. They claim that I am eligible for a free medical alert system because I am a senior citizen have already been referred by a friend or medical professional. First, I'm barely 50, and secondly, none of my friends or doctors would give out my number like that. I have opted out at least twice, but they still call. Today, I waited on the line for a representative and asked for a supervisor. I was told that there was no supervisor available and that they would put my number of the opt out list. I tried to tell her that I've already opted out twice, and the rep just hung up me. Crooks. Caller Company: 5162203819 Caller Type: Scammer/Phisher

June 2, 2014, 5:47 pm Anyone who calls my number gets a message that says "you have reached a number that does not accept solicitation calls. If you are a solicitor hang up, if not, stay on the line to be connected. This is a free service from my telephone company. It is active between 9:am and 9:00pm This number is using auto dialers or they would have kicked out. I picked up and said NOTHING, if you do not speak, evidently their system doesn't know that there is anyone on the line. Perhaps they will throw out my number as a "bad" number. I can hope, can't I? These people are tryign to get old people hooked on $29.99 a month recurring billing for medical alert bracelets that activate a communication line if the old person falls down. November 1, 2015, 3:25 pm Offering elderly folks medical bracelets devices similar to the "I've fallen and can't get up" devices from the 80's. These are setup for monthly billing and offer lame $3000 grocery coupons to make the elderly people more likely to accept the offer. The device is not really free as the monthly billing is so valuable as income that offering coupons and free devices is nothing compared to the long term sales. Caller Company: medical devices for grandparents Caller Type: Telemarketer

December 6, 2015, 8:47 am Selling devices for old people in case they call down. Medical Alert is what they call it. They charge by the month and want to scare old people into buying these devices. They offer coupons and free shipping or will tell you that the device is free, already paid for, and requires you to accept shipping to get it the order finalized. Very lowlife way to sell products.
