January 1, 2015, 9:50 am Calls like these should be ignore unless you get something in writing first so you can take it to a lawyer if needed. That is usually the standard way of addressing debt. In most cases though if you don't get a letter at least then the statue of limitations may be a factor for the caller if they are legit and any payments at all on your part renew the limitations. Yuo can't go around scaring people, you need to send them something in writing . I've never heard of these people or the debt they claim I owe. Big scam in my opinion. February 5, 2015, 3:08 am I was told that I have 2 fraud chares being prepared against me for bad checks. I was given a case number and a phone number to call back, They demanded money when I did, but I don't have any clue as to what the debt is and they weren't willing to specifically tell me. I suspect this to be a scam call. I will not honor it with any money and will block from now on. Until I get something in writing it's a dead end for them. February 16, 2015, 1:16 pm Debt collectors pretending to be a law firm named "O"Connell Greenman & Associates." They refuse to prove the debt to me by sending me documentation about the debts. Offered email, but federal laws requires paper forms. Just want payment and have all kinds of excuses about why they shouldn't need to help me at all while I 100% comply with them. February 20, 2015, 9:26 am continue getting this call and often they change the phone number. If you call them back, they record the number you called from and then they start calling you at that number. In my case it was from work! I asked them to put it in writing and send it to me but of course, they say that it is a court order. BIG SCAM!!!! Caller Type: Debt Collector

February 23, 2015, 7:46 pm We received a call on our ACD line. I work at a help desk. The name they gave was for someone who works here, however I didn't forward the call to the person. I asked my boss if it should get elevated to someone who can place a block on this number for our place of business. The message left was the same as all the others I've read. The beginning of the message was cut off making it appear as though the name of the company might have not been missed by mistake. BS. Do not give these calls the time of day. Just delete them!
