October 26, 2014, 11:11 pm This line is used for various scams all through the Magic Jack network. If you call the number back you will get a Magic Jack automated message identifying them. In my case I got someone calling from a Georgia hospital asking for personal information. Other people claim that it's loan or moneygram scams. April 25, 2015, 7:15 pm I got a technical support call on this line wanting to discuss my computer and how to fix it from a serious problems they claimed it was having. The man sounded like he was from India or the middle east. Definitely not American sounding even though the name used was American sounding. Don't waste your time with this caller. They sounded like they were Indian in ethnicity. I have heard all kinds of news reports on tv about this nonsense so I played with the person until they got so frustrated with me never hacking my own computer they yelled at me before hanging up. August 25, 2015, 2:49 pm Some loser scammer told me he was from Homeland Security and that if I didn't send me $1000 through western union that I would be charged with obstructing justice. January 11, 2016, 6:41 pm I received a phone call around 10:a.m. today. The man said he was calling from Microsoft; they had a security breach and my computer was infected. He went on to say with all the terrorist activity, I needed to clean the computer. Okay--He was in the middle of his spiel, my phone rings again; this guy says to disconnect with this guy; he is his supervisor. I went back to 1st guy; he says that #2 guy was the hacker, hang up! I was being played like a fine violin. I manually shut my computer down, called my security company. They did a complete check; I was safe. Definitely scammers! April 12, 2016, 5:42 pm I was told the caller was from Micro-Soft and wanted to re-fund my money from an old Windows program. He wanted to gain accsess to my PC and remove old programs and he could then give me my money. When I laughed at him, he immediately became mad and started cussing about my attitude!
