February 27, 2014, 1:27 pm This company calls numbers on the National Do Not Call registry (in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act) and plays a recorded message with no operator on the line (also in violation of the TCPA). They are offering a guaranteed reduction in your credit card interest rates. This is clearly a scam as they have already violated the law twice. January 10, 2015, 8:32 pm Automated skimming attempt on your credit card. They offer reduced credit card interes rates and tell you that the offer will expire soon if you don't act quickly. Keep in mind that your card company knows everything about you including your card number. They would never ask you to verify who you are in order to secure a promotion. Obviously these people are making huge amounts of money ripping people off or they wouldn't stop. A lot of people don't check their statements and just pay the charges. That is WAY too easy to be abused for fraud. The real card services has strict security policies and that would require you to verify yourself when you call them, not when they call you.
