When you try to connect to an operator, they hang up after about three minutes of horrible hold music. This is clearly a scam. January 30, 2015, 12:10 pm Reduced rates on credit cards are being offered with this line as a lure to get you to input your cc# into the phone for easy skimming and theft. It's a very common experience for victims to get a $495 charge on their card immediately after being tricked into thinking they are getting the time limtied credit card rate reduction offer. This criminal operation is a target of the FTC and has been for years. They invented the service NOMOROBO.com specifically for this service in a content the FTC held to try to stop this criminal. Be warned that you will get illegal charges on your credit card following your voluntary input of your credit card number into the phone for this con. You will NOT get a reduced rate.
