October 31, 2014, 6:09 am Big time Indian computer tech support services scammers. The point of these calls is not to hack your computer although I might suspect it. It's actually to fool you that something wrong with your computer and then build false trust with you so you will want to buy a 9 year tech support membership that costs hundreds of dollars. The FTC has actually come after a few of these organizations and forced them to issue refunds to people. It's a giant legal loophole they are in because technically they aren't robbing you of anything and they are just pretending something is wrong to scare you that you need a service they never need to help you with.
