November 27, 2013, 5:05 pm A guy with a VERY heavy Indian accent saying he was from "Windows Technical Support." He said they were getting a lot of error message coming from MY computer. When I laughed he seemed very irritated with me. He wanted me to get onto my computer so he could show me what was going on. Realizing this was some type of scam. I asked who he was and why he would be monitoring my computer anyways. He kept repeating himself over and over, that he was from windows technical support and I needed to go to my computer. I also asked what he was selling and he just stated the same above statement over again. I told him that I take care of my own computer problems. October 28, 2014, 6:30 pm Heavy accent stating that someone is trying to hack my computer. I replied that I haven't used it and his said open it. I replied that when I get it I'll call him back HE said, do you have my number, I said I have caller I'd, he said no, that's the wrong number. December 8, 2014, 5:34 pm Got a call from 347 514 7822. Caller ID shows Windows Support. A guy with a heavy Indian accent said my computer was being used for hacking. He wanted me to go to my computer. Yea, right. I asked him where he got my number. He said, they have all of my information including my name and address. I informed him that we are an old company and are still using pencil and paper at our office, that my boss doesn't trust computers because there are too many scams (totally bogus story) But it worked he hung up. March 21, 2015, 2:43 pm guy with Indian accent said he's from windows tech support. I asked which computer has the problem, he says how many you have, I say 4, he says all of them. March 31, 2015, 9:21 pm It's unfortunate, but this one DOES nail some people. I was bored last Sunday when they called. I answered and immediately knew what they were trying to do. Since I am an IT support technician, I challenged myself to see how long I could keep them on the phone (it was 2 hours and 13 minutes). Did I mention that I was bored? I continuously told him that I was typing and doing everything he wanted me to do, but each time we got to the part that would have done harm to my machine, I would give him the "intercept message" from a different anti-virus program. He would then walk me thru disabling that software (as I've done countless times with clients), and we would start again. I firmly believe I could have had him going longer, but at several points during our exchange, I almost lost it (laughing). On the final "hang up on me" exchange, I asked him if there was anything he needed from the grocery store. Of course he asked me why I wanted to know such a thing, to which I informed him that I was shopping and had been for some time. Speechless...Priceless! Keep them on the line (if you have time), for as long as possible. Beat my record! Have fun with it! BTW-I don't do that with telemarketers. Caller Company: 3475147822 Caller Type: Scammer/Phisher

April 17, 2015, 3:51 pm A rude man with a strong indian accent said he was from window support system. He said my computer sent him a msg that it was defective and he was gonna help me. He wanted me to enter a web address in "microsoft run". I knew it was a scam but i wanted to know what he wanted me to do. At this point I asked him why and what was gonna do to my computer. He said i had to do that or he was gonna come and arrest me..... Not my first threat from these scammers. So I gave him some friendly advice and to ignore my phone number. He said he would come to my house and take care of us. So I got a call making a death threat. Why cant you arrest some of these guys??? I get calls every week and from different parts of the contry. July 25, 2015, 3:46 pm Typical windows tech support call. I get at least one of these a month. Always the same lines about my computer's ip address giving off messages to windows about a virus infection that they need to remote come inside my computer to fix. Lies. They get quite angry if you play games with them. I usually do play games with them until they are screaming at me and then hang up. Feels good. Man with heavy accent telling me he was getting error messages and I needed to go to my computer.'told him I don't have one )I fibbed). Then he asked if I had a tablet or smart phone. At that point I said he was trying to scam me. He kept talking while I hung up. I am so tired of these calls. Hope the Do Not Call stops the robo calls soon. Then, everything they ask or say, just make stuff up to mess with them...it's hilarious... I'm sure they categorize my number under "CRAZY B*TCH" after calling my number. LOL!! April 13, 2016, 3:03 pm I got a call this morning from this number. Same thing as everything above. Man with heavy Indian accent. He said he was from WINDOWS SUPPORT. I asked him what this was in regards to and he repeated himself. I asked " what about my computer? ". He said my computer is messing up and he needs to walk me through a few things. I was like "Are you sure?" He said "yes, your Windows operating system keeps coming back with errors, and we need to fix it ASAP ". I said " that's interesting, because I only use Apple products, which means I DONT USE A WINDOWS OPERATING SYSTEM, so why are you calling me again?" He then hung up immediately. lol. I just laughed to myself. Careful Everyone. The second I looked up this phone number online, Google brought up a bunch of SPAM and scam stories with this New York number! May 23, 2016, 1:42 pm 4th year of getting the usual Windows support call about needing access to my machine to fix an infection. Sounds like the same Indian nationality that has been calling me over and over again. I get these calls weekly. I really wish our congress would spend a little time on stopping these guys instead of dreaming up legislation that has no chance of passing.
