I guess I will just have endure the calls until I've settled this problem. I have a call blocker, but won't block this number since it may remind me again to pay them if they call me next month. May 3, 2015, 2:10 pm My payments to JC Penny are late and have been repaid so my their need to keep calling should be abated soon. I have had these calls before so it's not a big deal. They are polite enough if you talk to them, especially if you are already working on paying them. I always clear my account eventually so don't fear the calls if you can afford to pay them. May 26, 2015, 5:41 pm Late payment reminders from JCP Credit for the JC Penny credit card. I am late on my payment and will work to restore my account standing soon enough, but the calls make me feel like a little child who can't responsibly handle it. In my case I mail my payments in and I believe it got lost so now I have these calls trying to remind me about the payment when I am already working on myself. Repeat calls. July 6, 2015, 7:53 am A debt collection call from JCP credit. I do own them money, but will not be able to pay them for a month or two as my finances took a big hit recently. Will pay this back, I am confident of that, but they keep calling anyway. Nothing I can do about my problems so they will just have to put up with it. July 29, 2015, 11:24 am This is a debt collection company called Syncrony which actually works for JC Penny's unpaid bills collections. In my case the bill got lost in the mail so this was not my fault and they kept calling me anyway. Everything is being fixed now so hopefully the calls will cease. August 10, 2015, 1:15 am Debts for the JCPenny credit card. Legit call as I do owe a bill payment on this card. Unexpected problems stopped me from doing so. I am good for and they have a good cause to bother me about it as they are just doing their jobs. Less calls would be better as I get the point and will address it on my own time. September 17, 2015, 1:17 am The caller is "Syncrony" and they used to be GE Finance I believe. Might have sold that division to Syncrony. Either way the calls are regarding store credit cards and possible late payments or cards that went into default. In my case I was behind due to payment deadlines not being met. April 25, 2016, 1:07 pm This number is from a bank in Ohio...to get them to stop calling(if you owe no money on your jcp credit card) you can call jc penney and let them know what's going on. They will transfer you and the bank will remove your number from their registry. :) Caller Type: Debt Collector

March 28, 2017, 10:16 am I get these calls frequently. 4 on 3/10, 2 on 3/12, 2 more today. I'm tired of them. I know NO ONE in Ohio. I don't have any credit cards. I owe NO ONE any money.
