September 17, 2013, 2:43 pm They start the call with a lie about a contractor being in your area. May say it's their uncle for relative. They talk over you so you can't say anything to stop the call, when you ask to be taking off their list they hang up on you before you can finish the sentence. Just a home renovation sales call. December 14, 2013, 12:31 am Someone from a home construction or renovation company calling to offer services because their contractor was in the neighborhood and willing to make a deal. They wanted to schedule an appointment. I just hung up. I started getting these calls after entering information into a Home Depot form for something I needed. Must have sold my information. July 12, 2015, 2:41 pm Same as everyone else -- "home contractor" calling to do work. I always say "Did you get the number and the voice recorded?" as if the call is being recorded. They hang up immediately. I'm sure it doesn't do anything to get me off their lists, but I sure enjoy doing it. The jerks called me on a Sunday morning this time. Very uncool. December 1, 2015, 5:24 pm This number calls all the time and leaves dead air, and when I call the number back, it does not work. Other times it's a telemarketer pretending to give a courtesy callback that I didn't request. I ask each time to be removed from call list but calls persist, sometimes twice a day for past three weeks. Sorry Home Depot but you're gonna lose business for selling private unlisted numbers.
