May 3, 2015, 12:25 pm I believe Microsoft scammers are spoofing a legit Tip Top Cleaners call support line to hide their activities from people who want to check the number for a scam. if you call this number back you will get a Tip Top Cleaners line with the option to leave a message with the mailbox ending up being filled up. Then if you pick up this line when it calls live you will get the fake MS technical support scammer who wants to hack your computer and then sell you technical support memberships. May 26, 2015, 4:00 pm I got an Indian idiot trying to pretend he was from Microsft and that my virus infection needed immediate attention to stop further spreading of the virus. This is obviously a fake scammer as I don't even haver a pc (i'm a mac guy) and they claimed to have full knowledge of my pc with windows license. All lies. Don't believe anything you hear. June 7, 2015, 5:49 am I got a caller ID that said "TIP TOP CLEANER" but the person on the line said they were from Microsoft. Big giveaway that this is a complete scam. I've read up on this scam and it's not really trying to hack you, they fake the virus fixing so you will trust them and buy a technical support subscription for hundreds of dollars (9 years they say on phone). June 30, 2015, 9:24 am Fake tech support criminals spoofing (faking caller id) the tip top tailors phone number to disguise they scammy ways. These types of scams are often prosecuted by the FTC and they force refunds in the millions of dollars because the call is one giant misleading sales call to force technical support subscriptions on you by pretending to be a helpful assistant.
