February 22, 2015, 8:41 pm Automated free cruise prize contest call. Wanted me to give them my credit card for a car rental for the trip. Seems that is the scheme, they sell you an expensive car rental to pass the trip off on you as "free" when it probably isn't. You pay with this "free contest prize" either way. Save your money for a good vacation as this has slimeball painted all over it. Caller Company: Cruise Vacation Prize Caller Type: Telemarketer

May 2, 2015, 11:59 pm Automated call for junk free vacations in Florida or a cruise. I think the message switches based on region or is random on their part to keep the scheme fresher for longer. The salescall is actually quite old, they've been doing it for years, famous in the US now. Offers vacation package at a discounted rated at the end of the call. Best to ignore. May 23, 2015, 6:02 am I believe this might be some kind of timeshare sales scheme. They told me that I had won free vacation time at a resort that I had previously visited, but the truth of the matter is that I haven't travelled in 2.5 years. Sounded a bit empty and random. If it it sales call for a vacation they are still wasting time as I would never buy a vacation from a random salesman over the phone. Give me a break. June 17, 2015, 5:11 pm I got the same message with "Congratulations! You've been selected to win a free cruise to the Bahamas!". The call was a computer and non-human. The message was on a repeat cycle so it continued on if you didn't respond to the voice. They told me to press a button, but by that time I was lost on the call and decided to end it. No time for vacation anyway. Caller Company: Cruise Vacation Scheme Caller Type: Telemarketer

June 18, 2015, 8:53 pm I heard a female voice say "Congratulations! You've been selected to win a free cruise to the Bahamas!". Research shows this is some kind of scheme to pretend to get a survey answered and then offers you a trip at a discount and not free as suggested. They will wait until the end before they through you the high-pressure sales pitch for the vacation. Caller Company: Free Cruise Nonsense Caller Type: Telemarketer |
