May 27, 2016, 4:24 pm Received a garbled message from this number today which showed up on call display as Sprint Canada. Message claims to be from CRA and is in reference to outstanding debt owed on taxes. Threatened to freeze assets and bank accounts within 24 hours if the debt is not dealt with asap. Gave number 885-684-7211 for me or my lawyer to phone back. On checking this number it comes back with numerous similar complaints about threats within the last several days. Call is an obvious fraud. This is not how CRA operates so be careful. Caller Company: Canada Revenue Agency Caller Type: Debt Collector

June 6, 2016, 1:31 pm Left a recorded message allegedly from a woman at the CRA saying a suit had been filed against me and if I didn't return the call today my social insurance number would be blacklisted as suspicious forever. They called, I asked them to stop call me, guy with a thick Indian accent claimed he was calling from the CRA and when I told him to stop lying and take me off the call list he became extremely rude (bastard, motherf**ker and more.....). June 13, 2016, 8:41 pm I have had calls in the last 2 days from #250-383-6894---3 saying it was "Windows" (I fell for that 3 years ago & it cost me $150). Like the previous writers I found there is no such #. More troublesome to me was a call from the same # with a soft woman's voice saying "goodbye". Two years ago I had similar calls. 2 hrs. ago I was called from 780-398-0100. That # also "does't exist". Please post any calls. May be the same people. November 22, 2016, 4:58 pm Got a call from this number at 1:31pm on Tuesday November 22nd 2016 & saw it on my Call Display. Not sure if it said SPRINT or not. I went out to my answering machine & waited. Sounds like they were gonna leave a message but also sounded frustrated that I didn't answer & hung up. I went onto my other speaker phone & did a *69 to get the number to report it. I phoned back within 5 minutes & it said 'number is not in service'. Googled 'How to block a number with SHAW'. Followed the instructions - second number blocked this week. Getting so tired of this crap !!!! BTW - I do have an UNLISTED number - Landline. P.S. If you want to block your number when dialing out - *67 ... carry on - they won't see your number then. Caller Type: Unknown |
