You run the risk of having you identity stolen from these people if you cooperate. FTC is prosecuting people for this scam, as there may be hundreds of these scammers around the country with different computerized systems. Some of them even trying to make other criminals look guilty by stealing the opportunitiies to rob people, hahahaha. Big scam stay away. I believe this scam is famously known as the "Rachel From Card Services Scam" and it's a safe bet you are better off to avoid it or block the number. I wouldn't worry about. Just hang up. I hit 7 and it says goodbye (it is a recording) They said it was my last chance to lower my rates so I would say that this is a big scam. July 25, 2015, 3:04 pm Claims to be card services calling with offers for lower credit card rates. Famous scam already so I wouldn't speak to them if you haven't already. Don't call them back (message will say the line is not in service most likely anyway) as this is a scammer. The FTC has been after these people for years. NOMOROBO was invented specifically to stop this kind of scammer. This caller is known to charge you hundreds of dollars on your credit card as soon as you give them your details.
