There are all kinds of bad things happening with this number so I would ignore it or delete any texts you get. People are also getting prank calls from this line as well. January 2, 2015, 2:08 am I am getting dating site scammers using this number to connect and meet with me. I believe they want to make me fall in love with them and then get me to send them money. The guy said he could give me anything I wanted. I've heard that some dating site scammers pretend to send you jewelry and valuable objects, but then say they need you to pay shipping money because they are too broke to send it. For those that don't know what that is the scam works by fooling you with common windows errors that are problems with your computer and then they try to remotely fix it and then at the end sell you 9 year tech support memberships for hundreds of dollars which you will never use because the error they fixed is fake. November 21, 2015, 6:16 pm Nov. 18 2015 Someone on match.com, pretends to be US Military SM stationed in Damask Syria, for 24 months. Asks for skype to chat, then email. Written conversations on chat site were in broken english and improper use of the english language. I disconnected within 2 days. He daily continues to email and try to reach me on skype. This number called my cell phone and he spoke in broken english with a heavy accent very aggressive. He was not American military Sergeant Major. I googled number its in Florida. Fake virus warnings that needed to be fixed, Research shows that this is a scam operation to mislead you into believing that you got your computer fixed and then sell you 9 year tech support contracts for $900. January 11, 2016, 12:58 pm Spoke with someone claiming to be John Moore and works for Price Waterhouse Coopers. He told me that I won a prize of $300,000, a Mercedes-Benz and other expensive prizes. He sounds like a robot in his fake American accent. And there were voices of littles kids in the background. The caller has been calling me non-stop twice a day, until I blocked his call. February 4, 2016, 7:22 pm I received a call from this number as well after participating in an interview on Google Hangouts that alerted me to a possible job scam. There were many spelling and grammatical errors made during the interview, and the email was sent from a null address, CCing other people who had responded to the job posting on the same email I received. The man pretended to be David Golden from Everyday Health, which is a legitimate company. This was also a tip off because David Golden is on the Board of Directors for the company. I contacted the company directly and confirmed that the job posting was bogus. The man had a heavy accent and tried to convince me that it was not a scam. Needless to say, I wasn't convinced. February 20, 2016, 10:58 am I got this guy with a funny accent who told me that I had a package at FedEx h.q. At first I thought he was talking about an order from Amazon I had getting lost in the mail, as that does happen to me. But he went on to say I could claim the package along with a huge amount of money and a new BMW. I started to realize it was a scam and hung up, but he kept calling me so I answered again and played along out of curiosity. I decided to tell him I didn't want the money or the car and to give it to someone else. Still, he pressed for info about me. I gave him fake info and nothing about my name or address. He then adds that I sounded like a pretty young lady and he wanted a relationship with me! I had had enough at this point, so I told him to leave me alone and blocked the number. I called my mother to tell her about the whole thing and when I read off the number I heard my father laughing in the background. He said that they had received the same call almost an hour ago. February 24, 2016, 10:35 pm The scam that I received started on the computer! When I went online to install another device on my norton anti-virus, a pop-up appeared for technical support. It indicated to state my name and number and an customer tech will call me within 5-10 minutes. Within a couple of minutes an idian sounding man called and said that I could not perform any updates because I had trogens that were not covered by Norton Internet Security! He indicated that he could fix it for 149.99$us. When I indicated that I was Canadian, he said that the price would be 129.99$US. Red flags were screaming!!! I told him that I would think about it and call him back. By then he already had remote access to my computer. I hung up the phone and as soon as I started to research the phone number, my computer shut right down! I tryed to call the 1-800-260-3028 just to see if it was automated, it was not so I hung up. The dumb ass tryed to phone back! Needless to say that I did not answer!! I phone another 1-800 number for norton and was advised that I was almost scammed. If these good for nothing low lifes are smart enough to come up with this s**t, you would think that they would be smart enough to make an honest living!!! March 7, 2016, 2:10 pm Caller claimed to be from omnitech wanting to arrange to send me a refund. Phone #'s given 626-800-3760to call back, and 239-0205-4843 on display called back several times did not answer. Did have computer service from Omnitch at one time. which also led to a number of scam calls. This appears to be a scam wanted me to go to www.supremofree.com. March 22, 2016, 7:16 pm I was trying to sell my bed in craiglist for $300. This guy requested to buy it from me and told me that he will send a check for me and the mover to pick up the bed. I was told to transfer the money to the mover account using money gram. I deposited the check and even before the check cleared I was argued to transfer money to the picker through money gram. I transferred $1200 from money gram and after that the guy never called me. After three days the check was returned as fictitious and I was over-drawn in my account. He is a big scammer.. May 10, 2016, 12:21 pm Caller claims to be a 40yr old Veteran running his own small company (Johnson's Estate Management) had posted ad on Craigslist under: Assistant/Erran Runner. Offers $200 for running each errand for his company since his previous assistant is pregnant and needs a replacement. Before proceeding to work he asked me for my General Banking information as well as how long I had been banking there, what name the account is under as well as My login information and told me to change it after he had logged in (I never gave him that information). After suspicion arose I asked for information on him and he constantly ignored my requests later on asking me to send photos of my online banking account to his "Assistant" that he now mentions to be Male and starts to deny that he had a FEMALE assistant. The email he provided is: ([email protected]) the phone numbers they have contacted me from are 1. (541)-418-4641 & 2. (239)-205-4843 They still are trying to reach out for my information and shortly after responding that I reported them i received about 3 calls with caller ID from Egypt which i have ignored.
