July 19, 2015, 5:45 am Call was regarding options to relieve student loan debt. They said the government has passed legislation that would help to ease student loans payments and lower them so it's easy to pay off. Not sure who these people are as they only called themselves "Student Debt Company" which doesn't seem like a real company name to me. Good luck, folks. Caller Company: Student Debt Company??? July 22, 2015, 5:03 pm I suspect that this is a giant scam. The call was about lower student debt, but in my case I have no student debt. I paid off my debt a long time ago. I have no worries in this area. So I'm not sure where they got my phone number from, but seeing as my student loan was paid off 4 or 5 years ago this doesn't seem like a legit call to me, or they are simply making random calls. 'Claimed to be a student loan company offering re-structuring on my student loan debt. I don't have any student loan debt. Incompetent scammers'. July 25, 2015, 12:32 am Seems to be from a "Student Debt Company" and the message was automated. Told me to press 1 to speak to an agent about lowering my student loan debt. I never bothered to do so and I'm not sure how they would do this. I'm not sure student loans allow this type of behavior.
