January 9, 2015, 5:58 pm A scam that claims to be with "Windows Services" to help you fix a virus infection. They are ridiculously stupid and foreign sounding. Very thick accents...so much so that I can't make out what they say half the time. They told me that errors in the admin panel are evidence of my infection, but those errors are common and not dangerous at all. I told them to F off and hung up. February 1, 2015, 9:33 pm There are a number of scam companies trying to pull off this con. They make huge amounts of money selling people technical support packages and software. The membership is misleading because you don't need it since they fake the virus threat and the software is free off the internet if you want it bad enough. February 25, 2015, 1:08 am Indian accented scammers trying to fake computer problems to sell you fake support subscriptions. They will get very angry if you tell them that you don't want their help. I told them I was a technician and fully understood computers and they get really rude with me and called me stupid. I guess in India they don't train you how to con people properly either.
