They may call to inform you about debts and possibly about civil litigation they may be threatening you with in order to collect the debt or scare you into paying. March 16, 2015, 3:28 pm Some people are getting weird calls in Spanish on this number which could be debt collection, telemarketers (phone card???) or some kind of scammer. Spanish scammers are often the worst criminal types so I would be suspicious at the least. If you haven't gotten any letters in the mail regarding debts then I would ignore any calls you are getting for debt. Statute of limitations probably passed or is close to passing so just avoid them long enough to make calling you too expensive. Caller Company: Bothersome caller at least Caller Type: Unknown |
